This is the master key to your identity. Keep it safe. Never share it.
Step one
Create your identity
Open ARKK and your device generates a 12-word recovery phrase and your cryptographic keys. No phone number, no email, no sign-up. Write the phrase down. It's shown once, and only you ever have it.
Step two
Share your ARKK ID
Your public key becomes a short fingerprint, your ARKK ID. Share it in person, by QR, or any way you like. It carries nothing about who you are, so it's safe to hand out.

Step three
Talk, end-to-end encrypted
Add someone by their ARKK ID and start messaging. Everything is sealed on your device and opened only on theirs. Your history stays on your phone. Turn on a disappearing timer whenever you want it gone.
Under the hood
Twelve words become your keys
Your recovery phrase deterministically generates a key pair. The public key is your shareable ARKK ID; the private key never leaves your device, which is why no one, including us, can recover it for you.
What happens to a message
From your screen to theirs, and nowhere else

The server moves bytes it cannot read, no content, ever.
